Experts say the best way to store a tie is rolled or gently folded onto itself; not hanging over a rack or hanger. Taking this advice to heart, the Naked & Angry tie packaging was designed with two purposes in mind. The first was to create a bold and beautifully simple retail package. The second purpose is really an extension of the first: create a functional container to hold and protect the tie while being stored. The resulting packaging accommodates both purposes perfectly.

The box is hand-constructed out of hardwood, padded, and then lined with satin. It’s the perfect size and shape to store your tie. A gentle spring-loaded recessed hinge keeps the box closed tightly without the need for a clasp, keeping your tie free of dust and lint. The Naked & Angry logo is applied to the top of the box using a traditional heat-branding technique. A great deal of time and effort went into designing the perfect package to hold and protect your tie for as long as you love it.

Recently, our packaging was showcased at a trade show in Las Vegas and won the award for best retail packaging in the show!

A little more about our neckties

All Naked & Angry ties are hand constructed using 100% silk. The ties are created using a weaving process where differing pre-dyed yarns are woven together to produce the design as part of the fabric. The fabric is then cut and sewn to form the tie. A solid black silk is used to line the inside of the tie as well as add weight and "feel" to the tie. Naked & Angry ties do not bunch up when knotted and, while they do have a nice weight to them, they are not bulky. The tie's facing includes a slice of the fabric as well as the Naked & Angry brand label.
