the only thing i don't like is the pink background. eek!

I actually really love the pink background. I just wish it were "more smooth" like your other designs!

IMHO, the pink looks off. I think if the paisley didn't have so much pink in them (especially the larger ones or if it was a different shade than the pink inside. . .
Right now it looks like it was done in Illustrator and you didn't close all the outlines. Sometimes happy mistakes happen like that but to me, it feels like you could take the level of sophistication up a bit.

i don't think it's suppose to be smooth... i really like it as is.

if you keep the pink, re-think the green. or vise versa. that's what off to my eye. the pink and the green just don't go well together.

The pink is a bit gawdy, isn't it? I'll submit a different version. The pattern was sketched with pencil, and not done in illustrator at all. So the gritty effect is there on purpose. I really liked the sketch - but you're all spot on about the colors.
