I don't understand why people think this is illegal.
what about play money that little kids use thats not illegal and that looks even more like real money so i'm not sure whats so wrong about it.

and they said its illegal to wear the U.S.A. flag or money
as clothes.

I know that the law team for a client that I had told me that even if I'm using just PORTIONS of currency in my designs, it has to be either smaller than 1/3rd the original, or larger than 3x. And I'd argue that play money doesn't look even more like real money, considering this is an exact copy.
